or sale is a Jupiter JSL-432L trombone in like new, mint condition. This trombone, marketed towards students, were bought by a professional player for outdoor use - then he got only one outdoor gig since, meaning the trombone received one real playing occasion.

Though it is marketed towards students, this trombone is filled with professional features - such as reversed tuning slide (makes the horn taper more gradually, making the sound rounder), nickel silver outer slide, etc. The playing characteristics is more responsive and free blowing than most student trombones (most other student trombones are made with thicker metal, to keep cost low and to make it more dent-resistant, making the feel stuffier and heavier-responding).

It has 8" bell and .500 bore slide, and is lacquer finished. It was hand-picked by the owner, and he thinks it is one of the best student trombones he had tried, along with Japanese/American made Yamaha and LA made Kanstul trombones.

The asking price is set at half as much as most rent-to-own trombones available in the area. The trombone comes with the original case, equally mint condition, and a choice of brand new, never used 6-1/2AL or 12C mouthpiece (made by Jupiter). You can choose to have both mouthpieces for an extra $20 (6-1/2AL for band, 12C for jazz band, for example).
