I am selling a beautiful and in mint condition Marshall tube amp, labeled the JCM2000 DSL401. I originally payed $950 for this amp and am asking only 700-750, as it has barely been used. The Marshall DSL401 is a compact, EL84-powered 1x12" combo, but don't let its relatively small size fool you, it packs a powerful punch. The most significant difference from the rest of the DSL range, is the DSL401 has three footswitchable sounds - Clean, OD1 & OD2! The difference between OD1 and OD2 is a massive 20dB boost, which is instantly accessible with a mere tap of your foot on the supplied 2-way (Clean/OD, OD1/OD2) LED footswitch. Like its bigger brothers (the DSL50 and DSL100 heads), the Clean channel of the DSL401 produces a wide array of crystal clear yet complex, clean sounds. It also gets big 'n' bluesy when the channel's Gain control is cranked up. The DSL401 also boasts the following rear panel attributes: dual speaker jacks (with an 8 Ohm/16 Ohm impedance selector switch) for driving external cabinets, speaker emulated DI output and an optional Reverb on/off footswitch jack.

The DSL201 20 Watt and DSL401 40 Watt 1x12" combos bring you the advances of JCM2000 design and a whole host of pure valve tones. Powered by classic sounding EL84 valves, both the DSL201 and DSL401 have two totally independent, footswitchable channels, notably Clean and Overdrive which can take you from clean, through classic and modern 'Crunch' through to super-saturated Lead overdrive.

The DSL401 offers a third footswitchable option between OD1 and OD2, where OD2 has a 20dB gain boost. The DSL201 and DSL401 both also feature a parallel FX Loop with front panel Mix control and a large spring 'Sound Enhancements' reverb. For home recording the DI output is fully speaker emulated. The all round flexibility and compact nature of these toneful combos means that they are destined to instantly become classics for sessions, rehearsals and club gigs.
