This Musser Professional M40(serial no. 7518) 2.5-octave Pit Xylophone features the original vintage Rosewood bars, expertly refurbished and tuned by Master Tuner Gilberto Serna(formerly of Deagan) of Century Mallet in Chicago, Illinois. The instrument has been housed in private studios, only taken out for professional rehearsals and performances over the years. The overall instrument condition is very good, though the case could use a good once-over, showing a bit of wear-and-tear and one broken latch from years of quality service (I am the second owner - a KC-metro professional percussionist. The previous owner was formerly the Principal Percussionist for the Kansas City Philharmonic).
