Instrument Location: Middelburg, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands
Instrument Description: Violin for sale - Violin by Lorenzo & Tomaso Carcassi, Florence ca 1740
A violin by Lorenzo & Tomaso Carcassi (Florence, ca. 1740). It comes with a certificate by Dario D'Attili (New Jersey 1992). This is an early example of these makers' work, resembling Stainer's style. The violin was previously played by a violinist in the Bergische Symphoniker (Germany).
The instrument is currently in Middelburg (The Netherlands), where I can arrange various types and sizes of rooms and halls in which the violin can be played. Alternatively, I can, with some warning, arrange viewings in London, Colchester, or Munich.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
