Description for Violin - Joh. Bapt. Schweitzer Violin -- 1834:
There are no pictures available for this advertisement
I have had this instrument for the past 10 years and the tone and quality are both excellent. I purchased this from a fine violin retailer in the tri-state area for over 3,000 dollars. There are no cracks in the violin but there are minor scratches and wear and tear after a decade of use. The inscription inside the violin reads: Joh. Bapt. Schweitzer fecit ad formam Antonii Stradiuarii Pestini 1834. Feel free to email me with any questions or for high quality pictures of the violin. If the price is right I add my wooden bow (~ 300 dollar value) and my case with all the accessories (rosin, shoulder rest, extra strings).
