This is a very fine, interesting, rare and unique French 18th century concert violin in excellent condition, it is labelled Nicolaus Simoutre 1839 but it was not made by him, nor the date is correct to the instrument, it is in excellent condition, only with a minor perfectly repaired crack visible in pictures extending for 2,2 cms. from the right ff hole to the edge...
There are artistical restorations to both ff holes executed perfectly and beautifully, this restoration alone is worth a lot of money
The sound is simply amazing and will satisfy the most demanding player, this is guaranteed.
