The violin as shown in the photos is a beautiful reddish/ caramel colour. The sound is open and clear with tremendous carry without sounding loud to the ear. The tonal clarity is superb throughout all registers and on all strings.
This violin is in immaculate condition and looks as if it has been shut in a case ever since it was made. It loves to be played and is playable with great ease. This violin would suit any professional violinist and would do justice to any genre of music.
The table is fine grained spruce and the back is a narrow flamed maple single piece, one of the most spectacular to be seen.
There are no cracks, and very few minor scuffs.
