Violin for sale - Alexander Gagliano, 1713

FOR SALE:

A very fine (composite) Italian violin mainly by Alexander Gagliano. Bearing the maker's original label dated 1713. In original condition except for the fittings. One drying out crack to the lower belly, starting at the right side of the tail saddle. One small drying out crack to the edge at the left upper side of the back, adjacent to the button.

The two piece top of fine straight grain was probably made by Francesco Stradivari. The back, sides and neck are by Alexander Gagliano.
