Violin for sale - A Very Good French Violin Breton Brevete

A very good French violin, early 20th Century labelled F. Breton, brevete de S.M.G Me La Duchesse a Mirecourt 1831. Warm light brown/orange color on a gold ground. Two piece maple back of moderate flame, two piece pine top of fine grain. Length of back 14 1/8". These violins are sought after for the quality of tone and this is a nice example. Fully lined and blocked in 4 corners, well made inlaid purfling.
