A very good Violin by Thibouville Llamy. Labelled Medio Fino and made in Mirecourt France circa 1890. One piece back plain, the ribs and head similar, the table of medium grain, the varnish of a red hue on an amber background. Length of back 35.8cm/14 3/16". Easy to play and has a strong, even tone. Professionally set up and in very good condition with minimal wear commensurate with light use. No cracks or repairs. New ebony fingerboard, pegs, bridge and strings. Ebony chinpiece will be fitted before shipping. This is a good example of a Medio Fino and these violins are very popular with many violin teachers.
