New Instrument.
The back of this violin is made from very old two piece aged maple with a broad flame. The upper left bout has a matching insert fitted into the surface where a protruding spur appeared during making.
The belly is two piece Swiss pine with flame red oil varnish.
A powerful instrument with very good tone quality, response and projection.
Easy to play.
