This fine bow was made by Matt Wehling after winning several VSA Gold Medals, some for violin bows. Feel free to contact Matt to veritify the authenticity. I'd be happy to arrange for trial through mail or in person.

This gold mounted bow of slight flamed pernambuco and ebony bow has plenty of colour and finess. It also has ample strength and the quick response and bounce. The playability is very similar to those of Classic French maker before 1860, the Simon, Henry, and F. Peccatte.

Contemporary makers don't make bows like this... only Matt!
