Violin bow made by N. David Crowder. N. David Crowder is a bowmaker featured in Thomas Wenberg's The Violin Makers of The United States. Crowder studied bow making under Lloyd Liu, opening his own shop in 1976. He is currently SharMusic's bow restoration expert in Ann Arbor, MI.
The bow is comprised of an octagonal pernambuco stick hand-made by Crowder and a best-quality manufactured frog installed by Crowder. Marked "NDC" to distinquish from a bow fully hand-made by Crowder. Frog has a French eye and silver screw. Black leather thumb-grip w/ silver winding. Medium stiff stick with new hair. Bow has a solid feel with excellent response. 62 grams Great price for one-of-a-kind bow!
