This custom CC Tuba is a solid instrument in working condition. Great sound and excellent resonance and a terrific low register make this one a keeper. This horn is big enough to hold down any ensemble with great presence. The large bore and bell add plenty of color to the sound.

There are some dents in the bell from a recent drop (from about ankle-height); these can be hammered out easily, and you may subtract a repair estimate from the total price to be paid.

The price includes both a soft backpack case, as well as a special custom flight case that is *much* sturdier than the original Yamaha case. It's been used for multiple international trips with orchestras and has proven time and time again effective in preventing damage to the instrument.

Yamaha YCB-822 Series Professional 4/4 CC Tuba

The model 822 was developed using some of the breakthrough technology used in the 621 series. Great low register and a singing sound are just two of the many features that are found on this instrument. Great intonation makes this easy to play without resorting to alternate fingerings. The sound carries very well with a slight brightness to it that is very attractive.
