I have a Conn "Director" Student trombone that is in decent shape. It would be great for a beginning band student(I played one of these trombones for 4 years when I was in junior high and high school. This trombone is in very good playable shape. There are several dents in the bell with none of these being very deep. The slide works well enough for any student player--with minimal drag and no "grabs." The trombone also has a dent in the back of the tuning slide but the tuning slide works well. There is also some wear at the bottem of the inner slide tubes at the slide stocking area. The trombone plays well and has a big sound. I do not have the original case for it but do have a soft gig bag which I would include with the instrument. This is a quality instrument from a quality company and is very sturdily built. It would be ideal for a beginning to intermediate player or a player that does not want to injure his "pro" horn in football marching band. If interested, please email and I can furnish pictures.
