Bach Stradivarius 42T "Thayer Valve" TromboneThe Bach 42 is a standard to symphonic sound and is versatile to jazz band to full on orchestra or band. The Thayer Valve only adds to the fun! It is an experience that is unlike using the regular rotary valve trombone.
The slide is smooooth! The tuning slides and everything else work nicely as well.
What I like about this trombone the most is that with a switch of a mouthpiece, you can play "bright" as if it were a small bore trombone. And with a bigger mouthpiece, it has a dark/rich sound to it. In both cases, the range is great! Super High (two octaves above the staff) C's D's and Eb's are all accessible with a good tone. If you would like more pictures of the horn, please contact me, and I can send you a whole gallery of them. I am asking $1600.
I am willing to ship worldwide. If you have any questions about this trombone, please email me at kodagoldberg AT gmail.com or call me at (503)319-4636 anytime. Thanks!
