I took it to a shop and it has not been refurbished in its lifetime. The whole horn seems to be in gold brass. The counter weight is easily taken off with a screwdriver and looks amazing. It truly sounds good and was used professionally for several years. It is the best sounding horn I have played hands down! The high Bb is an ease to get to, and it has a real beefy low section. I even had this horn test played by a professional in the area, and he didn't want to give it back to me. It looks great as well! Comes with a mouthpiece and the original case that doesn't waste space like the modern ones. Asking $1400 I will ship it worldwide as long as paypal is involved.
