This is an offer to completely overhaul (restore) your trombone (ANY BRAND). F attachment trombones are $495, plus $35 for shipping and insurance (inside the continental U.S.) The overhaul includes the following: I chemically clean the instrument - inside and out. This removes all the old build-up inside. All the dents are removed from the body and hand slide. The slide is realigned for smooth action. Excessively damaged or crushed inner and / or outer slides may incur additional cost, assuming parts are available. I have, in fact, been able to restore 99% of the instruments sent to me. I gently buff the entire instrument for the highest "luster" while maintaining the acoustical and structural quality of the metal. I use only the highest quality, instrument grade lacquer in the refinishing process to retain and protect the highly polished metal. The complete overhaul also includes one mouthpiece plating - in silver or gold.
Please put a note inside the case giving your name, information about your instrument - brand, model, serial, your address, phone number, email address, and the finish you desire - bright lacquer, satin sand finish with bright lacquer highlights, or silver. I also silverplate instruments. If your instrument is silver and has the normal wear places on it, I can spot plate those areas to blend in beautifully with the rest of the finish, and the overhaul price would be the normal $395 for tenor trombone, and $495 for F attachment. If your instrument needs complete silver- plating, or you wish to change your lacquered brass instrument to silver plated, the silverplate overhauls for the tenor trombone will be $495 plus $35 for shipping and insurance. F attachment trombones in silverplate are $595 plus $35 for shipping and insurance - inside the continental U.S. I offer the satin(sand) finish(with or without lacquer)at the normal overhaul price plus $35 for shipping and insurance.
