1931 F.E. Olds Military trombone. Serial number 7776, original case and mouthpiece. It the bell is hand-hammered and stamped with an eagle. All the slides move well and are very playable. 3 inch crease on bell and dent in tuning slide do not affect the sound.
The The horn has a S-shaped goose neck making it unique from other Military models of the same era that have a slight goose neck.
The original owner's name "Robert F. Crossman" is inside the case on a medal plaque along with some marching band hat pins and felt "S". The felt music letter may be from Syracuse University and pins are probably hat badges from the SU Marching Band (known as "100 Men and a Girl" at the time.)
