Saxophone - Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone

This is a real powerful Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone, serial number 125584. This horn plays with a lightning fast response and is for the player looking for the vintage VI sound with a little more "oomph".

The sax still has over 95% original lacquer remaining, and is physically just about perfect. The bell lip and bottom bow are outstanding, and there are no resolders anywhere. There is just light scratching on the back side of the body tube, and some moderate speckling on some keys and key touches. Otherwise the horn is simply beautiful.

This horn does come in new pads, with oversized brass metal Beason resonators. It has been fully adjusted and regulated, and is playing like you wouldn't believe. It features a very open and powerful sound, and responds immediately to your airstream. It is one of those horns you can play and really lose yourself in. It does come with the original neck, with matching serial number, which is physically perfect.
