This is a vintage 1938 SN 26xxx Selmer Balanced Action Tenor Saxophone that is in excellent condition and has a beautiful warm sound. I purchased it in 1965 and had it completely reconditioned (springs,pads,felts,corks and lacquer) at the Selmer factory. It has been my professional saxophone since then and has been maintained at a professional level. It has the normal wear and scratches, the body is dent free and the neck has been slightly pushed. The pads,springs,felts and corks are all in good conditon. The engraving is still very crisp including the mountain and sailboat scene which is exclusive to this model. It comes with a new case.
