Recording gear for sale - Antique 1947 Soundmirror Reel-to-reel tape recorder

Vintage 1946-47 Brush SoundMirror BK-401 tape recorder with an original reel of tape and the original acoustical microphone BA-106.

For specs, look it up on RadioMuseum dot org. According to RadioMuseum, it�s the second recorder made by the Brush Development Company, Cleveland, Ohio U.S.A.

All parts are original. I haven't attempted to run it. It's tube technology, all tubes seem intact. A mica-sandwiched board holding components, which was fastened to the back has broken free. I'll pack all securely and ship via parcel post with insurance. Email for more details.
