Recorder (woodwind instrument) Description: Recorder (woodwind instrument) for sale - Kung Superio Great Bass, New
Kung Superio bent neck, direct blow great bass in stained maple with 9 keys (model 2722).
The greatbass is the newest in the series. Baroque sound and dynamic playing. The narrow wind-channel needs slightly more breath pressure, but provides pleasant blowing resistance. Playing is thus made easier. Knick style gives the advantages of a direct blow instrument, with quick response. C/C#; D/D#. Plays from CC to ~f, 2-1/2 octaves.
This greatbass plays easily over a range of more than two octaves, with CLEAR and strong sound. The bottom C is very strong and speaks easily, without needing a soft attack. The highs play with surprisingly low breath pressure and speak without the necessity for strong attacks. The keywork is very high quality, very functional and easy to use, and done to the usual high workmanship standards of Kung. They have a winner with this one! They are hard at work designing the contrabass.
