This fully handbuilt viola d'amore was built in 2008 by fulltime professional maker, Arjaan Westdorp (NSVM 1977) in Den Haag - Netherlands.
The instrument is in mint condition and has a golden-yellow well-dried oilvarnish.
The balance - when held in playingposition - of the instrument is excellent. Professional players have commented on the ease of tuning and stability in this respect of the instrument.
The instrument copes well with different required tunings and various makes of strings. The instrument comes complete with up-to-date taxation-valuation certificate and in oblong case. Negotiable and at extra cost a bow can be supplied.
