String Instrument for sale - Concert Standard Prima Balalaika

This is a prima balalaika made in Saint Petersburg in around 2010 by master Kozirev. It was bought from the most reputable traditional music store around and I have played instruments from their makers for many years, I am just getting rid of some instruments I've had lying around for a number of years. This instrument is as good as new, it has only been played for testing and has no damage or imperfections

I prefer the instruments from this maker because the tuning mechanisms are of a much higher quality to some other makers and of course this instrument is of a vastly superior to any Ukranian or Romanian plywood instrument that are often on sale. It also has a good sturdy bridge! This instrument would be ideal for any budding player who wants to take their playing seriously up to soloist. I do have a couple of professional soloist instruments by the maker Kuznetsov which may be for sale but please contact me for information on those.

The instrument comes with a good quality padded case which is light and would take any knocks that would be expected over its lifetime without having to lug a hard case around!



I have two postage options,

One is partially insured while the other is fully insured and by courier. The option of the partially insured is merely because of the price of couriering internationally and I know it looks expensive. I can not accept responsibility for an item only partially insured. However, I have not had problems with the standard postage service before.
