One big bad drum! We have weighed many festival drums and found them wanting. We desired to build a drum that would weather the sort of road trips we used to take on tour with the 'Dead in the 70's. We wanted something that could be left out in the rain overnite and retuned over an open fire without damage. Did we do it? Pretty close! A 12" REMO Weatherking head is attached to the top of this hand-crafted OSB shell with quality nickel hardware. Leave it plain or prime and paint your own design. Finished with Marine-grade Spar varnish for a lifetime of service.
