This style of mellophone was made popular for jazz and "big band' by Stan Kenton. Today it is used primarily for marching bands. It has an unusual feature - your can change from the key of F to Eb with the "flick" of a built-in rotor valve. It is in very good condition with 3 smooth piston valves that produce a rich, warm, broad sound . The serial number is 5968XX, and it comes with a case, and a mouthpiece.
