Full Conservatory,the YOB-841 features an 'open' bore configuration optimized to match 'American' style reeds. This inner bore shape is complemented by tapered tone-holes with conical undercutting for a dark silky tone with a focused center. This particular model has a third octave key. Upper/middle and bell material are Grenadilla. Key material is nickle silver with silver plating. This oboe has been lovingly cared for and maintained by one owner.Comes complete with original Yamaha hard case, also in excellent condition.
