This is an absolutely beautiful marimba that I got for my birthday a year ago, but I don't need it anymore because I quit percussion. The condition is practically new. The bars are Padauk wood, which resinates a gorgeous, full, rich sound. It's 4.3 octaves and sounds great with any mallets. This particular model is EXTREMELY hard to find used. New, the price is 3100. This one is barely used at all, and the price is incredible. The sound sustains perfectly, not too long but just long enough. I played a Bach violin concerto on it. It's a truly beautiful instrument for anyone who is into mallets like I was a few years ago. It's a genuinely great deal for this high quality of an instrument.
