Mandolin Description: Mandolin for sale - RARE VINTAGE EPIPHONE MM-70
There are no pictures available for this mandolin
Rare epiphone mm-70 built in Japan in the early 80's. They were played by Jethro Burns. This was the top of the line Epiphone mandolin constructed with solid carved top and back. The MM-70 has the scroll body shape, abalone flowerpot peghead inlay, fancy abalone fingerboard inlay like that of a 1970's Gibson F-5, carved spruce top with F holes, maple neck, back, and sides, white binding on all neck and body edges, and a sunburst finish. It is in excellent condition and comes with an awesome Gibson Suitcase style case. It has maple back and sides, spruce top and it sounds and plays great. It is much nicer than epi's made today.
