Nice Ratliff F Style mandolin with beautiful wood, binding & inlay.
This mandolin looks and sounds good. It has good tone and a great chop. It is in excellent condition. The serial # and many more pics are available at the above "photobucket" link...check them out...a beautiful mandolin! Comes with a nice hardshell case.
It is the standard F Ratliff R-5 mandolin. It has nickel-silver hardware, standard scale length, a hand engraved tailpiece, lacquer finish, mother-of-pearl inlay, and a two-way truss rod. Nice billowy maple back. Highest quality Schaller keys. It has an ebony fretboard and bridge. Good, clean workmanship through out. Completely hand made by luthier Audey Ratliff. Mr. Ratliff uses only the finest materials and workmanship.
