I have a Mohammed Fadel oud from 1985, the so called "Kuwait model". This is a more unusual model, it was only made by demand, and most of those who ordered this model was musicians from the gulf, thats why they called it the Kuwait model. The bowl of this oud is made of the oriental sycamore �Platanus� and dispite its large size, it's extremely light weight.
With this oud you get a certificate issued from Faiq Mohammed Fadel, Fadels eldest son, assuring that the oud is a genuine Fadel.
