Description: Lute - 1969 Rubio eight course lute
There are no pictures available for this lute
A Renaissance lute in excellent condition. This lute is a lighter instrument than the Rubio lutes associated with Julian Bream. It was described by his foreman, Paul Fischer, as a "transition lute." It is lightly built with tied frets and not a guitar-lute. It is a very fine, powerful lute with excellent projection and beautiful tone. There was a small touching up of the top polish recently. I am selling it at a very cheap price because I stopped playing it a long time ago. The price of $2500 is firm.
