Harpsichord by 'Il Laboratorio' in 1996-7. 2x8', AA-f3, Transposes to a' = 392 and 440 from 415Hz. 2.3m long. Soundboard in spruce with carved rose, box naturals, accidentals inlaid with various woods, seventeeth-century style floral decoration on bentside. Beautiful loud singing tone suitable for most repertoire. 2.3m long. One small crack on the bentside of the soundboard but professional builder has said this is not a problem and is 'almost normal'; and otherwise in good condition following a servicing earlier this year.
