Built about 1985, 32 strings � 4 1/2 octaves � C to f '''Maine rock maple, with an ash t-brace.
Height, with stand: 57", front to back: 28", corpus width: 17" (bottom) to 5" (top). Weight: 28 lbs, stand: 3 lbs.
Refinished in 2010 in red mahogany dye and hand-padded lacquer. Re-strung in December 2010 in 70/30 brass wire, custom drawn in the U.S.
This instrument has not been played very much; it has lived under string tension through 25 years of varying temperatures and humidity, though, without any structural damage. Looks like new�spectacular under stage lighting.
