Hand made here in U.S.. NOT pakistani imports.The harps played by the Irish and Scottish Bards were strung with brass Wire, not gut. My wire strung harps are modern versions of the Brian Boru Harp of Trinity College, Dublin, the oldest harp still intact.
Deluxe harps are made of Cherry wood. Less expensive harps are Mahogany Plywood. (you would be amazed to learn how many Orchestra instruments, especially $20,000 Pedal Harps are plywood) The mahogany actually has an amazingly sweet, warm, dark sound.
