I build a copy of a superb natural horn by Franz Stohr, Prague. It is able to be crooked in any key from C alto to A basso, and even lower. These horns are freeblowing and unhampered by the "wolf tones" that plague the French models. Tapers and bore are narrow, but the bell throat is generous, allowing both a broad rich sound and easy hand stopping. Intonation is very reliable and precise. Price is predicated on the disposition of crooks you wish to order. Silver trim at added cost upon request. These are very popular horns and played by leading players in the US Canada and even some in Europe.
