Elkhart Conn 8D - serial # 674632.
This 8D was built in 1957. I got it in the 1960's and played it in the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, the Air Force Band, and in multiple community orchestras since then. It is in outstanding playing condition. Everywhere I play they comment on how it 'speaks' and produces a great sound. I just had the horn refurbished and a few minor dents taken out. After this work it has some repair marks where dents were removed, but it plays even better than before.
Included: new hard plastic case with full compression padding - the old wood and fabric case was falling apart. Vincent Bach 11 mouthpiece. Standard stone mute. Post stop mute - brass.
