There are no pictures available for this flute
This is a very special flute stamped "Hans Moennig/Philadephia/191". This instrument represents the craftsmanship of the most famous woodwind repairman in the United States during the 20th century. Moennig (1903-1988) maintained his shop in Philadelphia until 1983. He was known for innovative solutions to pitch, tone and mechanical problems on woodwinds. This particular instrument is a closed hole model with C foot and is believed to be made of a nickel-silver alloy. The head joint may also be sterling, but it is hard to tell. This instrument comes with original case and will require some pad work and servicing but is in good condition overall. NOTE: The contact form below does not work.
