SUPERB vintage flute marked "THE HAYNES FLUTE / MFD - BY / WM. S. HAYNES CO. / BOSTON MASS. / 15623 / REG. TRADE MARK" on the socket. Open-hole Y-arm keys w/ inline G, closed G#, C foot. Drawn-and-rolled tone holes. SOLID STERLING SILVER. 10K gold springs. SUPERB condition overall. Ready to take out of the case and play. No damage or repair visible, just very slight handling scratches; nothing of consequence. This flute was well cared for. It has just had a very expensive highest-quality overhaul by Diefes Musical Instrument Repair. All pads have been replaced with highest-grade Straubinger professional pads; the keywork has been regulated; all corks replaced; and the instrument was cleaned, polished, and lubricated. Nice original French-style case with minor wear in excellent condition; original silver caps for head tenon & body tenon; original tuning/cleaning rod. Payment in cash or USPS money order only.
