Features of this instrument are::I am selling a Yamaha 642S compensating euphonium. I have had this professional-level instrument since 1997, and it has no dents, and few scratches. I used this instrument in graduate school while I was working on my Master and Doctorate degrees in music and somewhat used it in my teaching. I am currently a university band director who plays more trombone these days, and so I have decided to give up my horn. The valves work very well and it comes with a Yamaha standard large shank mouthpiece.
The hard case is in very good shape, and will also include the Pro-Tec gig bag that I usually carry it in. The silver is a bit tarnished, but it isn't anything silver polish can't handle. This horn has been taken care of, and would be an excellent horn for any music major, or anyone who takes playing euphonium seriously.
Features of this horn include:
- Hand-lapped monel valves for superior valve fit.
- Fully compensating system ensuring accurate tuning throughout the instrument's range.
- Silver Plated hand hammered yellow brass bell for quick response and an intensely pleasurable tone!
Will only ship in the continental 48 states. Shipping cost will be $75.00
Pictures will be made available on request.
