Description: Cornet (Eb and Bb) - Conn Connstellation Cornet
There are no pictures available for this cornet (eb and bb)
This instrument is a long model Conn cornet. It is two-tone, (finished in nickel and brass) and it looks just like the Connstellation trumpet although this reciever takes a cornet mouthpiece.
It has an incredibly full, centered, and dark sound which will seemingly not break up when pushed. It also has a very lyrical capability. Intonation is excellent and it has played well with a variety of different styles of cornet mouthpieces.
Excellent playing condition. Some wear in lacquer and the leadpipe and bell appear to droop a bit, but it is in otherwise quite good condition.
The serial number is 635683, placing the date of manufacture between 1956 and 1957.
