Description: Cello - Italian Cello by Patrick Seaux
An excellent cello (Nr. 19) by Patrick Seaux, made in Padova, Italy, year 2000. Cremonese School, unique design and character. Played on many recordings, in solo, chamber and orchestral concerts by a professional cellist.
Excellent workmanship, all hand-made by one person. Seaux has won a prize at the Jakob Stainer violin-making competition. Model is Giuseppe Rocca and Petrus Guarnerius. Varnish is rich orange-brown.
I own two (Nr. 19 & 21) of Seaux's instruments, and the one I'm selling here is in very good condition, no cracks or repairs. The sound is warm and with good projection, perfect for chamber music and orchestral work.
New cellos by Seaux are currently at 25000 EUR.
