Bassoon: Wiseman Bassoon Case - Excellent Condition, FREE Shipping

I am selling a Wiseman Classic bassoon case. I purchased this case new about a year and half ago, and have used it until about a week ago. It is in excellent working and physical condition, showing normal signs of regular, careful use.

Here is a description of this case taken from Forrest's Music's website:

"This design features a rigid shell made of aircraft plywood, reinforced with aluminum and covered with top grain black leather. The interior of the case is well padded and velvet lined. The two halves of this "clam shell" design are joined by a piano hinge.The case is held securely closed, first by a continuous Velcro valance which helps to make the case drip-proof, then by a detachable leather belt with a metal buckle. When closed, the case will stand upright on end. The detachable sheet music pouch is sized to hold orchestra scores and snaps to the outside of the case.
On the inside, all individual joints of the bassoon are completely immobilized and protected by padded velvet blankets. At one end of the "lid" is a storage compartment with a tool pouch, and there is still ample room for your reed cases. Two bocals can be safely carried in the "bocal socks" carried in the middle between the two halves of the case."

Here is a list of very specific physical blemishes, which are illustrated in the pictures below.

- There are a few small scuffs, notably one on the front of the exterior accesory pouch.
- On the bottom of the case, there are signs of wear near the ends, where the piano hinge is making an impression in the leather.
- The suface leather is ripped on the interior divider that supports the bottom of the boot joint. The relatively sharp edge of the bottom of my bassoon's boot cap did this over time. The rip is only on the surface of the divider and does not affect functionality at all.
- The piece of foam protecting the top, or open end of the boot joint has been compressed by my bassoon. I don't believe this will affect functionality at all.
