I have a great student bassoon for sale made by Schreiber and imported by the Jenkins Music Company. It is maple wood with standard keywork. It is in perfect playing condition, and it has a nice sound with good intonation.It received a complete professional overhaul this summer, which included all new white kid leather pads, wood bore cleaned and oiled, mechanism adjusted and lubricated, and all felts and corks replaced.
It was made in the 60s, so it shows signs of age, but most importantly, it plays great. This is the perfect bassoon for a student or casual player. I am asking $1800 obo. I would be happy to ship the instrument or arrange a trial period as well.
