This is a well made Selmer USA bassoon. Standard German (Heckel) system. Made of seasoned maple wood, equipped with High D key, whisper key, body lock, four rollers (Db/Eb, F/Ab), lined tone holes, string binded tenons. Stenciled " Selmer USA, MOD 132" on the bell. SN matchs on all joints. No cracks on wood body.

All new pads, some corks and spring have been replaced. Bores and tone holes have been fully cleaned and oiled. Silver plating are intact, original finish has some worn for regular use.

This bassoon has very steady intonation, good response over the registers. It can play high E with normal fingering. Sooth scales and warm, deep tone. Highly recommend to high school, college students and amateurs.
