$2700.00 This is a beautifully restored Lesher bassoon including replating of all metal parts with new nickel plate, full refinishing of the body, all new needle springs, white kid pads and corks and felts. Teflon has been used where possible to improve the action. The tenons are string. The instrument was in good shape before restoration and now it is gorgeous. It comes with two Lesher bocals, a #1 and a #2, both also replated. The vintage original case has been replaced with a new ProTec case. I believe this instrument was made before Selmer acquired Lesher because it appears to be very well made, with nice key work and good quality maple with nice grain in the body. It does not have a whisper lock or any extra keys. It is a standard Heckel system bassoon that would be excellent for a student player. I will pay for domestic shipping.
