Heckel serial #5804 completely updated by Marvin Kranz, including high D & E keys, silver water tubes (tone hole liners), body lock, and pinky rollers. Produces an incredibly beautiful sound with the signature Heckel qualities. Includes 2 pre-WWII Heckel bocals worth over $2000, one of which is original to the instrument. The high end responsiveness with the prewar CC-1 is extraordinary. Intonation is quite good, including notes that are troublesome on other instruments. The wood finish is very old but not original and has a beautiful patina. The original ivory bell ring is perfect. The original Heckel opera-style case is in outstanding condition.
