Carruthers SUB / EUB Upright Electric Bass

Electric upright bass made by John Carruthers, master luthier and custom guitar maker to some of the most influential guitarists and bassists playing today.

This is one of the very first SUBs John made (according to John it's probably the second one) and is about 25 years old.
Could probably be considered a prototype.

Piezzo bridge pickup plus EMG P Bass style active pickups at the neck which are adjustable.
4 controls, 1 each for Piezzo Volume, EMG Volume, Treble and Bass.

There is some cracking in the finish around the tail block. It does not appear to be a structural problem as it's very solid.
I can touch that up.
I'll also do a custom setup for buyer before it leaves the shop.

Includes chest rest (belly bar) and very durable soft case.
