This bass absolutely kills, I'll be sad to see her go. Rock maple and walnut neck with an ash and walnut body, neckthrough, weighs just over 10 pounds. 3 band active EQ. It has EMG pickups and an Aguilar OBP-1 preamp in it which gives it killer tones. This bass has EXCEPTionally hot electronics which is why I bought it. Just to give you background, I had recently boughten an American Standard Jazz, and when I heard and played this bass at a small custom bass shop here in Portland OR(Fearless Guitars) I traded my new, very mono-toned Fender for this exotic beauty. Its fairly dinged up all over the body and has a few worn spots on the back of the neck but the playability is still excellent. I recently had the frets redone and the pots resoldered. The strings on it are old, but I will stick a brand new pair of Elixir long life strings on it. Comes with the original Ibanez hard case, although it is fairly beat up and has the name Los Diamantes(The Diamonds) painted on the front, it still serves its purpose.
